Intermountain Healing Hearts

Oh my goodness we had an amazing weekend!! We were able to go to an Intermountain Healing Hearts Camp that was honestly so amazing!! I met so many miracle kids who were stinkin cute and the families were AMAZING!! I got to see some of Parker's old friends from the hosptial who was so much fun. It was something else to see some of those kids that you knew in the hospital so ill fighting for their lives and now they were running around camp swinging sliding down the slide doing Pinata's and jumping in a big bounce thing, laughing and building friendships with other kids just like them!! It is something else!! There were lots of volunteers there who fed us they were so awesome and way nice too!! I don't wish on anyone to have a heart child but if anyone ever did I would reccommend this group of families because soon enough you become a family together!!! I love my friends and thank all of them for their Friendship and love for my family!!

Love,
Sheila

Stress?!?!?!?

I have decided in my mind I do not handle stress well at all. It comes to a breaking point and it is just too much for me!! I, like I said on facebook, am an EMOTIONAL wreck this morning!! We woke up late for school 8:15am that is when we usually are out the door and school starts at 8:30 I probably got her there at 8:32am :) so we weren't that late but I hope that never happens again!! I really want to teach Alexis how important school really really is and never miss unless it is a must!! We are doin pretty good today we are going to get some cleaning done (not a lot needs done) YEAH!! :) and enjoy the weekend with the family without crying to much!! We have an Intermountain Healing hearts camp and it can be so emoitional seein all this MIRACLE kids with their MIRACLE Hearts including my son who is really a one in a million sweetheart!! SO PRECIOUS and AMAZING he is such a blessing in our lives I can't even tell you what he does for this family to me and Jordan and Lexi I can't express how we feel!! I feel like prayers are still expressed for Parker and I know we feel that in our home!! Thank You. We love you all so much

This is an old video that I found that my friends made for me for Alexis's baby shower!! It is kinda fun to watch!! HE HE HE It feels so long ago this was made holy cow

Reflecting on Life!!!

I just wanted to take a moment and share this thought with all of you!! Recently one of my very good friends and their daughter Kaidence who has recieved a heart transplant in December of 2007 is now rejecting her heart severely and it has made me realize and put me in check again to look back on past events we have been able to do. Kaidence is very slowly turning around to a more positive state and we are asking everyone to pray for that sweet little girl www.4mykaidence.blogspot.com!!
When have you last given your child a hug? Kiss? Said, "I Love You" Please never take those for granted. Those are such special moments that you never really reflect on until you are in a position when you can't express those feelings. When you have a child with a health problem you know they can seem fine one second and then another they are fighting for their lives. Just always remember those "LITTLE MOMENTS"
Things we have done with Parker during his life is AMAZING the picture I posted is of my foot and Jordan's feet standing over a mine that was such a long drop I was so scared Parker just loved throwing rocks down it and lexi loved it too!! I seriously froze and could not move it was so scary!! Our friend Travis took us to 5 mile and showed us these mines it was so much fun and such an instense Saturday!! I got my thrills for the year!! He he he So Four Wheeling is one of the many activities we have done, and swimming in the river, Horse back riding, Traveling, Sheep, Grandparents, Dogs, moab hiking, Easter, Christmas, ThanksGiving, Halloween(his favorite), the zoo, Exautic animals that Uncle Jared brings home like a bear, baby fox, baby skunks, a baby beaver! Weddings, On the lake in the canoe, going to the temple, Birthdays, Celebrations, Family Gatherings, Chickens, rides, cotton Candy, Snow cones, Rodeos, Dinosaur Museums, Parades, Fire Works (he loves the Sparklers) Those are really just a few of the things Parker and our family has been blessed to experience!! I just thought I would share my thoughts!! Hope you all have a great week.

Parker just misses his sister!! He was so worried about her!! He still is smilin though!! :)

Walking to Class

Listening to the teacher

Alexis takes directions so well and listens to her teacher I am so Proud to be her mother!!

Alexis's First Day of School

She is getting a name sticker on her from her teacher Mrs. Wood

New hair cut new shoes new clothes new backpack she is off!!

Alexis's first day of school was pretty interesting!! While getting ready this morning Alexis tripped and hit her chin so hard her tooth cut her lip on the inside and was bleeding like crazy :( It was so sad I think it is going to be just fine she says it is so sore though and it kinda hurt to brush her teeth this morning the thing is though we have a list of things she gets done before we leave home. It is called "My Morning Stars" She gets to check off all she gets done 1st Get Dressed; 2nd make your bed; 3rd eat Breakfast; 4th brush your teeth; 5th be ready to walk out the door by 8:20am. I am so proud of her because she injured her lip in the middle of it all and still got everything done even by 8:15am this morning!! She is such an amazing little girl. As she was walking out the door she found a little note to her from her dad!! She said,"That is so SPECIAL" Really dramatic like it was so cute!! It was such a sweet note Jordan was able to give Alexis a father's blessing before she started school and she was it was so special from her daddy to do that!! It made me and Jordan laugh so hard when she sat in the chair ready for Jordan to give the blessing and Parker put his good hand on Alexis's head and said, "Heavenly Father, have a good day, Amen" It is so funny we just laughed so hard!! Anyway it has been a crazy morning but we are ready for the school year 2010-2011!!
